100PLUS, Secretlab Named Official Sponsors For 2021 Wild Rift SEA Icon Series Singapore

Ahead of the upcoming 2021 League of Legends: Wild Rift SEA Icon Series Singapore tournaments, Eliphant has announced 100PLUS and Secretlab as official sponsors for the entire series.

100PLUS is on board as the Official Presenting Sponsor and Official Esports Beverage Sponsor. This will be the first time the brand has associated itself with a competitive esports event, and aims to establish itself as a major partner in the esports scene henceforth. As part of its sponsorship, 100PLUS will be “providing beverages to refresh and rehydrate all tournament crew, casters and participants over the course of the league”, while viewers of the tournament series will also stand the chance to win 100PLUS drinks and other merchandise in the form of giveaways.

Secretlab is named as the Official Chair Partner for the league. An “active and strong supporter of the local esports scene in Singapore”, Secretlab will provide its world-renowned premium gaming chairs to participants of the tournaments, and will also sponsor chairs to participating viewers via giveaways.

The 2021 Wild Rift SEA Icon Series Singapore will run between March – August 2021, beginning with the Pre-Season invitational taking place this weekend on 26 – 28 March. Four local teams – The Alliance, Team Sequence SG, Impunity Esports, and Big Dirty Golems – will be participating in the Pre-Season for a cash prize pool of US$5,000.

The Icon Series Singapore Pre-Season will be followed by the Summer season, the qualifiers of which begin in April. The Fall season will begin in July. The dates to the upcoming Summer and Fall seasons will be announced at a later date.

“We are very honoured to be working with both 100PLUS and Secretlab for the League of Legends: Wild Rift Southeast Asia (SEA) Icon Series Singapore, and are heartened by their support for both the League of Legends: Wild Rift community and the Singapore esports industry. We’re excited to bring the best esports action and entertainment to players and audiences over the next few months.” said Koh Yung Tek, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Eliphant, in a press release.

“The League of Legends: Wild Rift SEA Icon Series is the first Wild Rift tournament produced by Riot Games Southeast Asia, and it finally gives the best players in the region a chance to shine. The local esports scene has always been a special space for my co-founder Alaric and I, and we remember how important opportunities like this were for us back in the day. Now, we’re thrilled to be able to give back to the community and support regional talent with our premier tournament-grade chairs to help them put on their best performance,” said Ian Ang, co-founder & CEO of Secretlab.
