It’s a rumble in a mini jungle! Blizzard’s long-awaited Warcraft mobile game has officially been announced: Warcraft Arclight Rumble. 

It is a new action strategy game set within the Warcraft universe, that lets players collect miniature figures of beloved Warcraft characters, and deploy them on the battlefield to achieve various results. 

Similar to mobile tower defence games like Clash Royale, gameplay consists of gathering resources, and using them strategically to maximise your Minis’ different abilities. That’s not all, there are also “Leaders” who possess special abilities – longtime Warcraft fans will no doubt be excited to employ the help of bite-sized versions of iconic heroes and villains including Jaina Proudmoore, Grommash Hellscream, and more.

There are multiple modes in Warcraft Arclight Rumble where players can duke it out, be it with dungeon bosses in PvE or other players in PvP. According to a press release, Blizzard promises more than 70 single-player missions, including dungeons and raids. There will also be weekly and monthly challenges to keep players coming back for more.

Warcraft Arclight Rumble isn’t the only mobile game Blizzard has in store. Mobile MMORPG Diablo Immortal is also currently in development, and is slated to be released for mobile and PC. Both games are currently available for pre-register on their respective sites.
