The largest fighting game tournament in Asia returns to GameStart 2017 bigger and better!

The year’s show is set to bring back favourites as well as new and exciting content for everyone, including game showcases and previews, esports, indie games, retro gaming, cosplay and more!

Esports is becoming a huge part of the gaming world, and as long terms supporters of the Fighting Game Community, we are happy to welcome South East Asia Major 2016, Presented by PlayStation, the largest fighting game tournament in the region, to GameStart 2016! Expect to see high-level tournament action,

We headed down to Tokyo Game Show last year with our partner No Average Joe, and our trip of course included a stop in Akihabara to geek out.

Over 17,000 fellow gamers joined us this year and we are humbled by everyone’s passion and response.

We managed to grab some time with Michael from Avalanche Studios to find out more about Just Cause 3, and why it’s going to be awesome!

We sent an early build of our game to Xian and Zhi from Cross Counter Asia, who are back from a 2 year hiatus. The guys gamely took up the challenge while discussing Xian’s recent qualification for the Capcom Pro Tour Finals.
