Eliphant is excited to announce that GameStart, Southeast Asia’s Premier Gaming Convention is back for the 6th year running! Happening on 12 and 13 October 2019 at Suntec Convention Centre (SCC) Halls 401 to 403, GameStart 2019 promises to bring a spectacular gaming experience for fans of every genre.
From our humble beginning in 2014 at SCC Hall 403, where we welcomed 12,000 visitors, GameStart has more than doubled in size and visitorship, playing host to 27,000 visitors from around the world in 2018. The event’s guest lineup has also included renowned international celebrities like pro-wrestler Kenny Omega and Overwatch voice actress Elise Zhang.
GameStart 2019 will once again host a crowd favourite – SEA Major (SEAM), one of the longest running and largest fighting game tournaments in Asia Pacific. The finale of SEAM will be the Asia Finals of the official Capcom Pro Tour 2019 league, where the best Street Fighter players in the world will gather to compete for prize money and a spot in the Capcom Cup at the end of the year.
