Garena’s new game to make Southeast Asian debut at FV x SEA Major 2018

Known as a premiere fighting game tournament, the FV X SEA Major, formerly the FV Cup, will host a the fighting game community’s biggest names at this year’s event.

This year, however, mobile games will be played on the FV X SEA Major stage for the first time. Arena of Valor, a game co-developed by Garena and Tencent, will see players pit their skills against one another in 1v1 combat. Free Fire: Royal Rush on the other hand will see 4 squads of 26 players each competing for a piece of the RM12,000 prize pool.

But that is not all, Garena have also teased a new mobile game. Which it called “the latest release, from a classic, 30-year old franchise”. The game will be demoed by EVO champion, Xian, and he will be joined on stage by eGG Network presenters Danelie and Faraz.

Tune into the FV X SEA Major to see fighting games’ biggest names square off against one another in games like Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, Dragonball FighterZ, and Tekken 7.

Garena’s new game will be featured at 3.40PM (+8 GMT).
