League of Legends: Wild Rift SEA Icon Series: Preseason To Run From February To March 2021

After nearly a year since League of Legends: Wild Rift was launched, Riot Games Southeast Asia has finally announced the game’s first official tournament within the region.

The League of Legends: Wild Rift Southeast Asia Icon Series: Preseason is a regional tournament that is split across specific tournament circuits in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, and Indonesia. 

Across five weekends running from 26 February – 28 March, each circuit will see teams in each country battling it out locally, to stand a chance to compete in the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series: Summer season later in the year.

Specifically for Singapore, Eliphant is the official Wild Rift regional esports partner for the local scene. Eliphant will work closely with Riot Games SEA in the execution of various local tournaments and esports events, including the upcoming Wild Rift Icon Series: Preseason.

Here’s a closer look at the dates for the circuits in each country:

  • Vietnam (VNG): 26 – 28 February
  • Malaysia (ESL): 6 – 7 March
  • Taiwan (Cyber Games Arena): 11 – 14 March
  • Thailand (ESL): 13 – 14 March
  • The Philippines (PPGL): 20 -21 March
  • Indonesia (One Up): 19 – 21 March
  • Singapore (Eliphant): 26 – 28 March

In addition, here are the confirmed teams so far that will be competing in the Icon Series: Preseason:

Riot Games SEA will unveil more information on the Icon Series: Preseason over the next few weeks.
