Survival games mean more than just zombies. Yes, zombies are very “now” and has an instant follower base that is an immediate market, but survival games need to connect with the player. Survival games can range from a simple scout and swim on an island to the complex, more entertaining zombie and virus threatening death to apocalyptic dictionary of disasters. The way that gamers and non-gamers evaluate a game is how engaging it is to them, the type of action they are getting and how unique it is from other games.
